To disclose or not disclose?

Hi, all!
I am applying to law school (late, I know), and I am torn over whether I need to disclose a situation. Here it is:
In the Spring of 2011, I was accused of cheating on an exam. Hundreds of other students taking the same course were also accused. Basically, they did some analysis and determined that we all took our test "too fast". They tests were taken on a computer. It was ridiculous, as I absolutely did not cheat. Anyways, I got a letter saying that my test time of 20 mins was too fast and that I was being accused of cheating. I went and appealed, however, they upheld the decision (i later found out that they upheld the decision for everyone, in order to let the dean handle all of the appeals). So I appealed to the Dean, who heard my case. After hearing my case, he found me not guilty, and the charges were dropped.
Do I need to disclose this on my law school application? I am leaning towards not, but I would appreciate any insight!
Thanks!
Shawn

I would disclose.
Shouldn't matter at all.

To be sure, when in doubt you should disclose. But you might not be in doubt. Read the C and F section of each application very carefully. Many applications only ask something along the lines of "have you ever been expelled, suspended, or placed on probation." The obvious answer to this in your case is no.
Edit: but if it also says "have you ever been subject to disciplinary action," than you are obligated to disclose.

Disclose to be safe, but, if the situation is as noted above, then you have nothing to worry about, in my opinion.

Anyways, thanks for the advice, guys! I guess I will disclose. I just hate that my school recklessly accused so many people of cheating. It's really not fair that hundreds of us now have to include addendum's and tell people about this as if we did anything wrong.

Bringing this topic back up because I am applying to law school again. I am in the middle of an application, and I ran into this question:
2. Have you ever been subject to disciplinary action or proceedings for academic misconduct, or subject to any action for academic insufficiency, at any college or university you have attended?
I guess I have to answer yes?

Yes. Again, not a big deal. They're looking for honesty here. It will have no effect on your cycle and better to over-disclose than under-disclose and risk something down the line for bar C&F.

YOU HAVE TO ANSWER YES.
Seriously. Disclose. Always disclose. AdComms are not even going to look twice at this issue. They will see that you weren't guilty of anything and move onto plugging your GPA and LSAT numbers into their secret admissions formula and laughing maniacally.
If you don't disclose, it could prevent you from ever being a lawyer.

Awesome, will do. Thanks.

That's not my C&F statement...was just a description I typed up last year for people on here.
Thanks everyone...I am disclosing it.
