I'd go with UVA. That's a lot of money to save and you're already where you want to end up.

I would most definitely not make any choice until then. HYS is typically very generous with need-based aid. I personally would take H with even a little bit of need-based vs. 3/4 (tuition, I'm assuming?) at UVA.SoPro wrote:Negative.

The massive prestige whore in me is yelling Harvard, but the financially prudent side is leaning towards UVA. Take your pick, OP. These are both terrific options.

Ask again when you know exactly how much it costs to go to each school. At this point it seems that money is the deciding factor.

I agree with this, unless Harvard is very generous with its need aid. If you want to work in VA, you'll be fine with UVA, plus you'll only be around 40-50k in debt (in state?) vs. +200k for Harvard.gaud wrote:I'd go with UVA. lol if you want to work in the region then it is UVA unless you want academia or clerkships. when you graduate you will realize that +$200K in debt is not worth the harvard name is you can get what you want from UVA.
