This is not going to matter. They just want to know if you have been dishonorably discharged.

you could tell the school you want to go to just to be safe. But I do not think it is a big deal.

Uncharacterized is when there is no misconduct found. So it is not really a 'less' than honorable, it sounds like a neutral thing.

from wikipedia:

Entry level separations, or uncharacterized discharge, are given to individuals who separate prior to completing 180 days of military service, or when discharge action was initiated prior to 180 days of service. This type of discharge does not attempt to characterize service as good or bad.
