Need TLSers help..

University of Maryland is one of my top choice schools for next year. I've already applied to ten other schools, but (not very wise, I know its late in the cycle) I've held off on applying to Maryland, because I can't decide whether I should apply full-time or part-time. I don't think I have a shot getting into the full-time program, its a huge gamble. So I'm probably going to apply part-time. My question is I want to graduate in three years, so can I be a part-time student for one year, take one summer of summer classes, then transfer into the full-time program for 2L and 3L? Is this possible? Thanks guys.

Before GULC changed their part time program this was possible. I'm not familiar with Maryland's program. But, since US news now includes part time #s along with full time #s in calculating rankings you may not get a bump for applying PT so you may as well apply FT. The best thing you could do - besides retaking the LSAT - would be to call up or email Maryland and get the answer straight from them.

Georgetown.
I'm not sure I'd do what you're planning on doing. Wouldn't this mean you'd get no legal work experience during 1L summer?
