For Law applicants/graduates: What NOT to do!
Posted: Tue Jan 10, 2012 5:51 am
Post examples of the dumbest mistakes law applicants and law school grads have made (with links and short explanations where appropriate.
Here's mine: Never get a biglaw job, get drunk, get arrested, threaten to kill the officers, and then tell them to google you and brag about the firm you work for...especially if you are black! smh.
A 30-year-old, African-American female Indianapolis biglaw associate from U-Louisville Law manages to get into an altercation with police, during which she allegedly threatens to kill the officers (or have them killed), all the while telling them where she worked. Not making this up.
First of all, she's a biglaw associate from U-Louisville Law!! She had already hit the lotto, and she has the nerve to hurl death threats at the officers with witnesses standing by? What she did was the equivalent of learning that she had the winning numbers and ripping up the ticket before collecting on it.
She's kinda hot, though (back row, far-L) http://www.flickr.com/photos/louisville ... 2863307984.
She'll bounce back when she starts stripping, dancing in Jay-Z videos or poses in Playboy.
