Getting Records for Employment History
This may sound like a stupid question...so excuse me in advance..but does anyone know where I can get access to all of my employment data? You would think since you had to fill out a W-2 for each job, there is some sort of government database which shows every job you held?
Thanks guys...I love TLS, and all of the posters contributing the forums.

If you can't remember it, it's not important enough to list.

Yeah I've had a lot of temp jobs (3-4 weeks). I just don't want to get in trouble with C & F...
I know there are a lot of posts regarding this...but I still don't know what the general TLS consensus is.

How would you get in trouble for C and F? Unless they ask if you've been fired from a job not listing it shouldn't matter in the least.

On the law school application it says "list employment." Does this imply listing all of your employment? I'm so confused...can we voluntarily omit these temp jobs?

C&F is really just about negative incidents which are either violations of the law or other types of gray area issues.
Having temp jobs is relatively normal and not a character and fitness issue. If you failed to pay taxes for those jobs, that could be an issue.
The law school doesn't do any of its own C&F investigation anyway, it's all the state bar where you want to practice.
