totally depends on your numbers and whether you are a URM

Michigan State, Ohio State (reach), Pittsburgh, Case Western, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Dayton(safety), Capital (safety), Cleveland State and Memphis.. and I am not a URM

I am thinking of applying to all of T14. That would cost a fortune though.
I guess I will apply to schools that give me a fee waiver, if not around 8?

depends, i applied to 7, friends applied to as many as 23
as others have noted, depends on ur scores. If ur a splitter, or worse, a urm splitter, u might need a large range of scores.
having said that, anything, in my opinion, over 20 schools is excessive

10, 8 of them T-14. Fee waivers were given for all except Harvard and Yale so price isn't as much of an issue.

10-11, but I now view that as excessive. I really only needed to apply to 4-5.

~15, but I'm planning on only applying to 5 next cycle after I retake the LSAT. Thank you, TLS

My friend applied to like 25 schools. He has a sub 160 LSAT and I told him it'd be a waste of money, and yet he still sent apps to Stanford/Michigan/etc (not URM).
IMO 10 to 15 seems reasonable.

Let me save you $50. Don't bother at Ohio State. Super-hard floor at 3.0 that they never dip below. Well, I see one in the last four years according to LSN - a 2.95/170.

I am applying to 12/14 of the T-14. I had to pay for 5, which sucked... I would not recommend applying to more than 20. You should be able to pinpoint where you can get in/want to go (and add a few for scholly negotiation)

My funds are extremely limited, so I only applied to four, of which one was an ED. The ED accepted me, thus sparing me from having to send off additional applications.
My plan was that if the ED school hadn't given me a bid, I would have then applied to two more in December. If I got no bids in December, I would have then started applying to schools outside my preferred region.
Edit: I am a reverse splitter. Thank God, California likes reverse splitting.
