Just curious as to what "success" stories you've heard of with kids with low LSAT scores getting accepted at accredited schools?

Personally I've heard of a 143 at Nova Southeastern, and a 147 at the University of Florida.

Any others?

Yale publishes its LSAT range in addition to its 25/50/75, and I remember seeing someone in last year's class got in with a 157. (Anyone want to guess that person's softs? I'm placing my money on senator's son/daughter.)

The admissions profile link isn't working right now, but here's a cached page from '10 when the low LSAT was still an astounding 158.

Several T-14 law schools have admitted students with LSAT scores in the 150s ( the lowest that I know is a 153 for a T-14 non-URM a year or two ago).

Many elite law schools specifically note that they are TFA partner schools. Several also reserve a few spots in each class for TFA alumni.

@emkay: If your TFA experience doesn't help your cycle, then you are not applying to enough T-14 law schools.

I think you are quite wrong. Certainly both H and Y reserve a certain number for spots for TFA corps, almost all T14s have special TFA scholarships. All the law school benefits was one of the huge reasons that I wanted to do TFA. As the poster above me said, if TFA isn't giving you a big boost then you aren't applying to the right schools.
