Can anyone just clarify some things up a bit.
So usually when someone applies for law school they should be getting their Bachelor's Degree by August before the term intended to be in.
Also people usually apply and get accepted a year before they get their bachelors, around October-November.
My question is, when law schools are checking people's GPA, are they only checking the person's first 3 years' GPA because the 4th year is still currently underway? I know that we eventually sent a transcript when we finally get our bachelors but does it work that way?
Law Admissions only check the first 3 years' GPA?

Yes.
They really don't have a choice but to accept GPAs from the first 3/ 3 1/2 years because if they waited for all of the grades, they wouldn't have time to make decisions before Fall. It's just like college.
I do think that they could reject you if you decided to fail all of your classes the last semester, so still do well.

TCR. Your admission to any school is
contingent upon you doing somewhere near how well you have been doing before. You can't just fail your last semester and expect them to keep you on board. HTH

Not at all. doing the same as you had been doing before means keeping the GPA within .1 of your cumulative. If your a 3.9 student, and take it easy and get a 3.5 after acceptance senior year, no biggie

Lol, Credited. No need for me to argue with that when that was the point I was trying to make.
All bull shit aside, if you had a 3.9 and finished your last semester with a 1.0, your GPA could be affected to the point where it is below the Law school's GPA floor that you want to go to. So again, just dont be an idiot.

You are mostly correct. Unless you choose to do a grade update after each semester, they only see the first two or three years gpa. Once you have graduated, you need to send your final transcript, where the office will need to confirm the degree.
