LSAT addendum for proctors talking?

During my LSAT, the proctors had conversations in a low voice, basically whispering. They chatted on and off during 2 sections, for minutes at a time. I was distracted. I didnt complain to LSAC. It was a while back. I scored slightly lower than my avg PTs, but still within the lower range of normal scores.
Should I include a short 5-6 line addendum explaining this happened? Or will it look like a silly whining complaint to adcoms and its better to leave it off?

Same thing happened at my testing center (twice). Affected me the first time. I wouldn't mention it in an addendum.

my proctors talked and ate food. I couldn't believe it

Eating food infront of 100 LSAT takers, some of which must be hungry
I would write the addendum if the school asks for it, but i would keep it to 1-3 lines tops.
edit- you should have asked them if they remember their business partner

Thanks for the replies. Anyone else care to chime in?

Not sure I'd get so specific as to blame the proctors. Sounds a little petty. Maybe noisy/distracting testing environment.

I don't think it will be helpful or at least not helpful enough to be worthwhile

i think if anything it could hurt you to write one. It seems like your reaching on that one. I think most schools would wonder, if you really did worse than you are capable of why not a retake? Also, if it was that bad why not complain to LSAC in the first place?

Do not write an addendum for the reason you listed.

I had a proctors phone ring (and the BITCH answered it). Even so, i agree with everyone else. I think inability to concentrate just looks bad on you. I mean, it's not like the adcoms are going to say, "well, let's see, her/his proctors talked for a few minutes, and he/she would have probably gotten two more questions right during that time, so we should give him/her a 1-2 point boost."

I think not having filed a complaint in the first place makes it look bad. If I'm an adcomm, I'm thinking "well, they clearly didn't think it affected them that much at the time...until they got a lower score than expected and are not looking for any plausible excuse."

No. Although they shouldn't have been talking, writing an addendum would seem like whinning. There was a thunderstorm during my LSAT and the power went of 3-4 times during one of my sections and LSAC didn't change anything, so I doubt light whispering really counts as a distraction in their book.

Exactly. Just seeing this thread..I'm thinking the same thing.

I would say "no" as well. I think ideal testing circumstances are rare. There will almost always be something. A loud clock, talking proctors, someone constantly sniffling, etc. Hell, I took mine in Baghdad. I had a few other things on my mind at the time.

My testing center was about as close to perfect as possible and I can think of a couple minor things that might have threw me off for a split second though... so knowing that I guess I could have a complaint (and had an amazing test center), yes this is true lol
