Any re-takers in at HLS yet?

Topic. Over in the "16.9% Drop" thread there's been speculation that schools will soften their retake policies. HLS seems like the most likely T3 to loosen its policy.

Anybody in (or even KB1'ed) with a retake? Also, what were your scores? Looked at LSN, but didn't see any self-identified re-takers in yet.

Also interested in this.

And, TylerM, looks like we're numbers twins. Are you a retaker too?

HYS already don't have any "hard" retake policies... They might weigh all your scores a little heavier than other law schools, but it is still your highest that counts the most.

Just looking at HLS applicants from my year and others, there are plenty who had one or two retakes and had averages that were definitely below median.

Yeah, I'll dig some more. I wish LSN had an R to accompany their U, I, & N.

+1

HLS does not "hard average" retakes anyways...they may care a bit more, but imo, it is still more like a soft; if they like you, they'll find a way to discount the lower score...if they don't like you, it is an easy self-justification on why to put you in the ding (or waitlist) pile lol.
