1 Letter of Recommendation Policy

Post by LSHopeful91 » Fri Nov 18, 2011 4:50 pm

For those schools that have a 1 LOR policy (Georgetown, Michigan, Texas, Cornell, etc.), is this a recommended number, or are these minimum requirement numbers and more letters are recommended?

Is this a school specific policy (if so, can someone elaborate on the schools mentioned), or is there some general policy?

Any information would be appreciated.

I think it's generally accepted opinion that even if a school requires 0 or 1 LOR's, it is best to have at a minimum, two submitted.
