Top Law Schools

Is there such a thing? I'm really torn between trying to find some sort of internship in the legal field, studying abroad for a good topic on a PS/diversity statement, or maybe even just volunteering somewhere a ton to look like a saint. Would any of these options be better than the other, or should I just enjoy those last 4 months of "freedom"?

Do you mean would this look good for internships/OCI/post-law school experience? because the summer before law school... you'd already be IN to a law school so how would you use that experience for a PS/DS?!

I suppose I meant summer before apps...... 12-16 months before LS

There's plenty of programs where you can volunteer domestically or abroad that would probably give you interesting material for your PS.

But I think if it were me, I'd look for paid work and preferably something with transferable skills (but you can't really develop those in a summer, more like a couple years of work).

If you just want interesting material for a PS, do an interesting internship abroad or get some substantive leadership experience, to the extent you can. I would recommend taking 1-2 years off at a minimum to get a paid job, though.

Appreciate the insight everyone. Unfortunately, working for a few years before school is not in the cards for me, but I do think there is something to be said about getting experience this summer with something that will actually be applicable in the future. And I love the London idea haha.
