Do law schools need to see fall semester grades?

So I applied to all my schools in early november. Do I need to send schools my grades after they are released in the fall so they can recalculate my gpa?
Will that affect my chances or do they just need grades to verify that I've graduated?

You CAN resend transcripts if you want to. If your GPA went up it may help with schools that have not yet made a decision.

CLS and NYU did it to a bunch of people last year. I am sure others would as well. Especially if you are on the bubble, but not always.

Just curious, is it generally a good or bad sign if they request them? Are they looking for a significant increase if they're going to accept someone, or is just keeping the cumulative GPA about the same good enough?
