UCLA Diversity Statement send as Addendum?

Post by lawschool?s » Fri Nov 11, 2011 5:20 am

On TLS's school page UCLA says they appreciate Diversity Statements, but they don't have a place for them. I have one already written, but I don't want to adapt it as my personal statement because the fact that I am of a mixed background hasn't been an experience that has led me to law school.

Did you guys attach it as an addendum?

I would call, but can't due to the fact they are closed till monday and I would like to send out my app asap because I am EDing.

Yeah, just send it as an addendum. That's what I did; in the end it probably doesn't matter much. What they get is what they get.

I'm submitting my Diversity Statement for UCLA as an addendum - that's what I would do if I were you.

I uploaded my diversity statement as a separate document. This was last cycle, and I got in, so doing it this way couldn't have hurt.
