Resume Mistake- Will this hurt me?

I just noticed that in my resume that went to two of my schools, at the top of my resume, I meant to write something to the effect of Objective: To attend an ABA-accredited. Instead, I used the word objection instead of objective. I looked over the thing probably 15 times and I don't know how I didn't catch it. I literally want someone to punch me in the face now. I am above the 75% in GPA and LSAT for both of these places, but this is a pretty bad mistake and show incompetence, inattention to detail, etc. Do you think this mistake will hurt me? Thanks.

I don't think it will hurt you especially since your numbers are in the top percentile.
But - I would suggest taking the Objective/Objection etc from your resume completely for any future applications. You are applying to law school so it's obvious what you want

Is it possible that they won't look at my resume and/or won't notice the typo?

Please DO NOT put an objective section on your resume. That's such a n00bish thing to do.

they will probably look at it - especially if it's required.
BUT definitely possible they won't notice the typo.

Might not notice.
If they notice, probably won't matter.
But +1 to Chimp - Objective is at best a no-value-add. At worst, it provides lolz at the expense of the applicant/candidate. I can't tell you how often I get resumes come across my desk, listing a desire to work at a different company, or different industry, or having spelling/grammatical mistakes while in the same sentence extolling the candidate's exceptional attention to detail.
