There was a post on here a while ago about a Phoenix Law grad who got a good job, though - partner or senior associate at a midlaw firm, I believe.

I'm sure you can do well, if you know the right people, but without them, even with a full ride, is risky.AntipodeanPhil wrote:I missed out. Distraughtchesterfan1230 wrote:Just got an email from Phoenix Law School.... Full Ride. Who else are they trying to sell this crap to....

Nah, one person got a good job once. That's enough for me.chesterfan1230 wrote:I'm sure you can do well, if you know the right people, but without them, even with a full ride, is risky.AntipodeanPhil wrote:I missed out. I wish this only applied to Phoenix, but it happens at so many schools. Then you're stuck paying sticker at a place you can't even transfer from.paul34 wrote:I bet most people lose that generous scholarship after their first year or even semester.

I did too. Middling LSAT and sub 3.0 gpa so the email had me suspicious.
Is it bad that I was hoping it wasn't from cooley?

I can't remember the name of the school, but I remember getting an LSAC email from one school in California that offered me admission and money even though I never contacted them or put an app in. There are some truly awful schools out there.
