Canadian Transcripts

I have a question regarding applicants from Canadian schools. I attend the University of Ottawa, and here, the grading scale plays out as such: An 80 is an A-, an 85 is an A, and a 90 is an A+. Now I understand that at most American schools, an 85 is a B, but if here it is an A, how does LSAC treat this? Do they look at the letter grade my school sends them or my percentage grade?

Canadian applicant here as well, they only look at the letter grade- for instance, i received a massive boost due to A+'s, many of which were in the low 90's, and of course very few American schools give out A+'s at all much less to a 90 grade.

Average American grading scale is probably something along the lines of:
100-94 A
93-90 A-
89-87 B+
86-84 B
83-80 B-
79-77 C+
76-74 C
73-70 C-
69-67 D+
66-64 D
63-60 D-
<60 F
Of course getting an A in a typical undergrad course is not that hard tbh. I'm guessing they end up averaging out with Canada (because of harder grading scale), LSAC only goes by the grade

madvillain what school are you in? Cuz my English Profs at UBC are certainly tough about A+'s. 94% here is suppose to be publishable material, so anything above 90 is ridiculously hard.

So just to be clear, because I've gotten many, many answers to this. They will look at my letter grade, and not convert my percentage to a different system, correct?

They will only look at your letter grade.

Do your transcripts have both letter grades and percentages? I am at U of T, and was told that they would use the letter grade that appears alongside the percentage.
If there is just a percentage on your transcript with a conversion chart, LSAC might use their own conversion.
