Top Law Schools

So apparently word switched the spelling of a school. I misspelled it the entire way through my essays... I noticed it and promptly called admissions, and asked if there was any way I could edit my app. I was transferred and the lady stated no there is not. She told me I can't edit, but asked if I minded stating what the mistake was. She started laughing, told me not to worry, and said they see it ALL the time / Word does auto correct it and it won't have any impact... For some reason I can't believe this (I'm a borderline admit)

Am I screwed?

Plenty of schools don't even read that shit or care. I know somebody who get into a school (that some people claim is good) with a PS she wrote specifically for and about another school.

Although if you're unlucky enough to have your file read by someone who cares about shit like misspelling and individual attention paid to the school in your app then this would really screw you. Guess you should proofread better next time.

Alright, I wouldn't be concerned if it was a school I had a good chance of getting admitted to... it is one of those could go either way schools, so I was thinking it can't look good in that case (I'm sure if I don't get admitted I'll blame even if it had no bearing lol)

The thing is, I proofread the HELL out of my essays / submitted like draft 35... I litterly don't know how I did that... fuck

The worst part is in my essay on why I want to go there, I kept talking about how much I love the school and it is spelled wrong lol

I was expecting something exciting. If they said it wasn't a big deal, it probably wasn't a big deal. Unless you have a reason to believe the person is dishonest.

Figured it could mean its not a big deal to her, but always a risk it is to others.
