December retake: when to send materials?

I am retaking in December (165 LSAT) and applying to duke, UVA, wake forest, unc. When is ideal to send LORs, transcripts, essays? 3.75 gpa. Nontrad student. Ivy league phd, currently a professor, several academic publications.
