Top Law Schools

I know the general consensus is to skip the LSAT addendum unless you have a good reason, but most schools I am looking at say they encourage you to write one for a 5+ point difference. I went from a 166 to 177, no great reasons, just more dedication/prep. What about a short and sweet addendum like this:

'My most recent LSAT sitting best reflects my academic aptitude and my full commitment to law, as a course of study. This LSAT score incorporates the same level of preparation and enthusiasm that I will bring to law school."

Too Short? Skip it?

I'm wondering the same thing... 167 > 176. Not sure what to say, since I just wasn't as well prepared the first time. Also, had an inadvertent three day bender the weekend before which may have left me a bit affected on test day. Can't exactly tell them that though. Regardless, I wouldn't really stress too much about it though, I think a couple lines is all you need; I'm only putting the addendum on because most schools explicitly request it. Everyone pretty much just takes the higher score now.

Now if only I could retake that pesky GPA.

yea i wouldn't mind retaking freshmen year again. Should have been easy A's
