Leaving all Diversity statements blank, ok???

I'm a male, youngest of 3 white children from South Western Pennsylvania in which my still together parents include my mother who is a nurse and my father who is a steel mill worker.
I'm so average / middle of the road when it comes to diversity it almost sounds made up... I tried writing stuff it just sounds so FORCED and horrible to me that I've decided to leave all the diversity sections / options blank. Can this hurt me
? (I know diversity statements / sections can help, but can not doing them be viewed negatively)...
