Advice for Undergraduate Student

Hello,

I am new to this forum.

I am currently in my last semester of undergrad. I have a 3.90 overall GPA and am one of the top students of my class. Have amazing recommendations letters, good internships and extracurriculars.

Unfortunately, I am a bad standardized test taker and received a 159 on the October LSAT. Was averaging a 162-165 on my PT's. My goal was getting into Fordham law but now I am not sure I even have a shot :(

My options:
1)Apply now
2)Retake in December and apply in January
3)Take the year off and attempt at improving my score

I know most of you will advise on taking the year off.

Some questions:

1.What is more valuable, several points on the LSAT or applying earlier in the rolling admissions?
2. Can I apply now and have the Dec scores sent to the schools once they are available?

Thanks in advance.

Even one point on the LSAT is more valuable than applying early. I'd consider taking the year off.

Take a year off. Use the remainder of this semester to get stupid loose, and then when youve got nothing to do in January, hit them books like crazy.

#3.
or possibly, #4- if you are such a good student and have amazing recs, internship etc- go get a useful job, instead of going to law school.

Law school is for humanity majors with subpar GPAs and no other options.
