I've searched and only found info on including speeding tickets or not.

I'm not as young as most of you, my last ticket was probably over 10 years ago (and several states ago).

I could estimate when/where I got tickets, but a few were in states with no reciprocity with my home state (don't read too far in to that, I probably only have 3 total). Should I estimate these? I would think it would be quite the research project to track them down. I'll probably try and call around tomorrow but thought I'd see what others have done. I have at least one app that says INCLUDE SPEEDING TICKETS.

Just disclose what you know or can easily figure out; if you've got speeding tickets you don't remember the details of, I'd just tell that to the school. The important thing is that you aren't trying to conceal anything; they won't ding you for forgetting the details of a ten-year-old speeding ticket.

My experience has been that courts don't keep the records as long as the motor vehicle departments do. Send a request to each driver's license state's DMV/BMV/whatever for your driving record (some states have this online now, others are a pain), and if nothing comes back then that's the best you can do.

If you feel like going the extra mile you could call the DMV or traffic court in states where you were cited but didn't have records transferred. CA, for example, keeps citations on file in case you ever become licensed in CA.

Try and be as accurate as you possibly can be, but as long as you make a good faith effort and disclose everything you'll be fine. It's hard to imagine getting denied C&F because you said april 02 instead of may 02, you know?

All three states I have called only offer 3-year reports so I guess I'll just have to estimate it. Weird.

I guess at the end of my list, should I state something about due to the lapse of time and ability to only obtain 3 year records from the DMV, the timing information is estimated however factual to the best of my knowledge?

Quite frankly no one's going to care if you forgot to disclose a speeding ticket down the line. But just try to estimate as close to possible.

I went to the AZ MVD page, and it looks like it will cost a fee to order my driving record, and the record will only cover the past five years. I'm tempted to simply write (for those few schools that require disclosure of minor traffic violations) that over the past sixteen years, I have accrued several minor traffic violations, including speeding and one instance of failure to yield while making a left hand turn. Is that too vague?

I just disclosed that I had a few and these were the ones I remembered...then estimated month/year and indicated that.

I had a couple 3+ year old speeding tickets and just said "I was cited for going over the speed limit by roughly 10 mph during the winter of 200X, learned my lesson etc."
