Should I write an addendum?

Post by coldshoulder » Sat Oct 22, 2011 12:21 pm

Should I write a brief addendum (probably one paragraph) to describe my GPA discrepancy?
I have a 3.7 UGPA and a 3.5 LSAC GPA, the difference being solely because of two math courses I took in my junior year of high school that were concurrent enrollment at a local community college. Should I explain this?

I'm assuming the courses are on your transcript, and if they are the adcomm will see this; therefore, there's no reason to include an addendum. You only write addenda when there's something that can't justly be assumed by the adcomm, and this can. And, honestly, there are a lot of people whose UGPA and LSAC GPA are different. (I'm one of them.)
