Does anyone else ever have incredibly false hope that something miraculous will happen and completely change how your cycle will go?

I.E. - The admissions dean of X school, your dream school, will suddenly decide that they MUST no longer have their GPA floor and that admitting splitters is clearly the only way to preserve their medians.

I daydream about this and check LSN furiously hoping some evidence of this will appear.

I'm hoping some of the T30s I'm targetting will start handing out more $$ to people above the LSAT median so they can stay competitive. Hopefully the lower T14 will take some more splitters to keep their medians up but I think that's a bit of a pipedream.

Scholarships and financial aid directly affect decisions to attend; therefore, if scholarships and financial aid are cut, we'd get the same result: smaller class sizes or lower medians.
