Which T14 schools interview?

Post by mahdian » Tue Oct 04, 2011 8:38 pm

Or even T20? I'm talking regional, alum interviews. I know Northwestern, Vanderbilt. Any others? I know I can go on to each website, but thought someone may have a list here. Thanks!

I don't know any other interviews like the type you mentioned. HLS is well known for phone interviews (in my opinion more of a sales pitch than an evaluation tool). Many schools have (phone?) interviews for scholarship consideration (Chicago included).

I am pretty sure HLS is the only school out of YHS/CCN/MVPB to interview.

For the few schools that do in-person interviews, I think it is (1) to make you prove you're interested in the school and didn't just apply for fun, and (2) to give you a sales pitch. I really don't think it matters that much, but I haven't been interviewed in-person by any law schools.
