I think a simple addendum mentioning that your highest score is current, whereas your previous one was 4 years ago will suffice (not even totally sure if that is necessary since the only circumstance time). I very much doubt your old score will have much of an effect for adcomms either way, since pretty much every school considers highest LSAT since that is what they report and are ranked upon.

I have no idea...but if it will actually be an issue, you could screw around for two more years and let it expire.

As weak as it sounds, that is what had happened, and what your addendum should be about. You can include something along the lines of being not as prepared the first time around as now, and that this preparedness is also indicative of your growing maturity. 4 years is a considerable amount of time and a lot can change about a person. So, your addendum wouldn't be "just a sucky excuse" but really a statement of facts.errmsg wrote:?
