How does this woman's work get published by other outlets like CNN? I know non-native English speakers whose writing abilities run circles around hers. I've read some of her other articles and it seems like the grammatical errors are never-ending.

Apparently she doesn't even know how long law school is:

Apparently she has Asperger's. Not to say that others with this disorder are as bad a writer as she is, but it may have something to do with why she's consistently published and interviewed by generally upstanding journalistic enterprises like CNN without any regard to the copious typos and mistakes in research.

Hey, if she wants to drop down the applicant pool with a terribly written article, I'm not going to object.

Ah yes, avoiding the difficulties of real life. I can imagine that writing blogs and skipping the part where you do research or proofread is taxing.

Fortunately, the general population is starting to catch on to her poorly worded points. The shrinking applicant pools are a fantastic sign that the job-dodgers are finally waking up. With any luck, it will continue to decline and the legal jobs market will be bearable once again.
