I've worked on a couple typical $10/hr campaigns, should I include this on my resume. The reason I ask is because I'm not to sure canvassing and placing signs looks very impressive. Any suggestions to what I can add to it.

IMO anything that shows work ethic is more impressive than nothing. I'd be careful of too much political detail though as you wouldn't want to give away a bias.

I don't see a problem with this. Maybe because my resume is heavily tailored to my political work, but they're not gonna ding you just because you're a republican or democrat.

Did you do it full-time or just part-time/seasonal? This sounds like something to include if you have room, but I wouldn't go onto a second page for it. If you have a few different less-substantive, part-time/seasonal/temporary jobs, you could just list the orgs and positions under the heading of "additional work experience" or something like that. It all depends on how it fits into the overall resume.

The campaign work was all no more than a couple weeks, so I think I'll put it under additional experience. Thanks for the suggestion.

Any campaign work could seem impressive, depending on how you word it. If you have significant work experience (by significant, little room left on the page) then can have it under a header reading "ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE" and list them along with any internships you may have done. If not, then do include it under employment. You were paid for it and it's relevant to your app (more so than, say, retail) and should be highlighted as such.

There definitely is room to include it under employment/experience. The thing is I have 3 campaigns where I pretty much did the same stuff. If I repeat bullet points on different campaign's I'm guessing that doesn't look too great. And so its easier to just put something like field operations, and the campaign name. Should I add bullets for 1 or 2 and then just put the position and campaign for the others?

You can do this a couple of ways:
1- List the campaigns one after the other with a general description of your fieldwork underneath.

2- List the first one with a description of your fieldwork, then list nos. 2 and 3, following each with "Performed general field operations as noted above; also ..." and a description of any work that may have been unique to these campaigns.

The latter would work best if any or all of these campaigns did differ in some way. If not, then the first would suffice.
