Less than 1 opening available for every 100 working attorneys. For those who claim that "networking" and "hustling" is the cure for legal job woes, I ask, how can you fit 100 square pegs into 1 round hole?

It looks like this is based on the number of jobs posted on simplyhired. I'm not sure that that is exactly representative of how lawyers find jobs.

Unless you go to a T6 or a school of a very similar ranking, it's probably how the majority of law grads find jobs these days. Anything below the T6, and less than half of the class is getting a job through OCI. And even within the T6, there's probably plenty of people on Simply Hired...just not the majority. If you haven't been paying attention, the bottom 1/3 to 1/4 of the lower T10 schools are graduating unemployed. Their best hope is probably something like Simply Hired.

I'm pretty sold on the Simply Hired demographic being a representative sample.

Is the ABA Journal required reading for Foot Locker managers or do you just read it for fun?

I am sure that the number of jobs available for those who are this bad at research and logical thinking are quite low.

There is something not right about this......

Again, I am astonished that MTal's logical and analytical reasoning did not land him #1 at Seton Hall or wherever the hell he was.
