Should I use "N/A" for app questions that don't apply to me?

When an application asks, "Please list any relatives who graduated from ____ Law School," should I write, "N/A" or a full sentence, e.g., "I have no relatives who graduated from ___ Law School." Thank you!

Leave it blank. If it won't let you leave it blank, write N/A.

Thanks everyone! Also, when it says "List the academic honors, awards, or other recognitions you have received and explain the reason(s) upon which awards were made," what are you supposed to put down if you were on Dean's List? Do I have to explain the "reasons" for getting onto Dean's List, which are kind of complicated b/c you need a certain GPA depending on how many credits you're taking.

Yes, include Dean's List. No need to do too much detail since law school admissions people know how it works, just say "Dean's List - Awarded to students with high GPAs" or "Dean's List - For achieving a #.## GPA" or something like that.
