Does an eviction count as an offence?

I would assume it doesn't.

I don't think that counts as an offense, but since some law schools check other things you may have a problem. Lawyers have fiduciary responsibilities and this doesn't look good for that. The law school may not check your credit, but I think many state bars do. I think that they are primarily looking for evictions, repos, and bankruptcy.

You may have a hard time getting student loans if the eviction turned into a collection. Look into it early in case you need to appeal.
