How many letters Of recommendation?

I potentially have five or six very strong letters. I think they're strong assets, especially since my application draws on significant work experience. However, I've heard that more than four can be seen as excessive. Thoughts?

I definitely dont think Id send more than four. Id likely send three if they were extremely solid. If the schools asks for three, maybe a fourth.

Five or six LOR's? WOW! That's a little overkill. A lot of schools want no more than 2-3. This website may be a little dated, but its a good guide to what each school is looking for - --LinkRemoved-- . Just check it against their current website to be sure its still accurate.

I'm going with 2.
3 at the most.
Most of my professors hate me.

You could maybe use the extra ones with a LOCI to get off a waitlist?

2 or maybe three.
Cut out all the ones that aren't academic.

I can't imagine why.

Don't submit 5-6 LoRs, as that's overkill. Pick 3 strong ones if the school lets you send in that many. Then, if you need to send in additional materials later, you've got something already prepped.

i say 42. lsac only allows up to 4 normally so make sure to ship the rest day by day during the admissions cycle.

I agree. Four is even overkill IMO. I submitted three and it was definitely fine. Keep your other ones for updating your application or getting off of a WL later on. They will hate you if you send in 6.
