Given that new LSAT/GPA medians will be posted by schools later this month, are those the more relevant scores that admission offices use for fee waivers, scholarships, etc. or are the new medians just good for us to approximate how competitive the applicant pool is? i.e. should we be more concerned with the most recent US News reported medians/25-75th percentiles or the scattered new info that will be posted by schools in the coming weeks?

They won't be that different. Usually the LSAT might vary by a point, and the GPA by .03 or less.

They tend to stay very close and can be somewhat of guideline, but they're always subject to change depending on the amount of applicants and what a school is trying to accomplish in building a class.

Changing medians make me nervous

I understand that stats don't typically change so much from year to year, but a couple tenths of a point change in gpa or a point on the LSAT can mean that you meet or exceed a 75th percentile, which I've heard people on the forums say affects scholarships. So that's why I was asking whether they take into consideration the most recent statistics they have, which will be later this month or the stats recorded in the US news(the previous years stats).
