Top Law Schools

A year ago I was dismissed for academic insufficiency. I was wholly unprepared for the work, and the school was a mill that offered NO support to students. Since then I received a paralegal certificate from an aba-approved school and have been working in that capacity for several months. I am preparing to retake the LSAT and hope to get in the 165-173 range. I would use my old score, but it's almost five years old (I worked for two years after taking it before applying to law school). I have great recommendations from professors, and employers. Is there anything else I should be doing to demonstrate that I am ready to resume studying the law? I've mulled over writing an article, but most journals require authors to be associated with an institution and this would be on my own.

old lsat 157, ugpa 3.2 I'm an older student, the school's ranking is 80.

What is your 5 year old LSAT score ? LSDAS GPA ? What is/was the approximate rank of your law school ? (Suffolk ?)

I would try to put an extra year or two between your last attempt and your application.

Yea, time is going to be your best bet here, I would imagine.
