What major and what school should I do?

Adcomms don't care what your major is, nor do they care that you're studying at a top 10 undergraduate business program (does that even really mean anything?).
Why top 8? That's a pretty arbitrary cut off point.
No. Having summer internships is a soft that will most likely neither help nor hurt your cycle.
