Top Law Schools

I was accepted to a school in the low 70s, I have paid my deposits, ordered books and been approved for loans, today I was called and accepted to a school in the mid 50s, a school that I like better and was my first choice, but is it worth the pain of trying to switch my loans over, pay my deposits, order new books and find a place to stay?

How much debt will you have out of either of these schools?

I have a feeling people are going to tell you that both of them are a bad idea, especially if you are taking out more than $100,000 in loans.

If it's lower total debt, then it's worth the hassle.

if you really want to go to the new school- then go. its much easier to switch before 1L than after it.

if you're honestly questioning whether or not it is worth the two or three hours of administrative tasks that it takes to go to a school you like better, you can't really be all that serious about law school.

like, you're not buying a pretzel here. this is a very expensive education and an investment of three years of your time, and this is your question? i'm not even going to get into the fact that you're going to graduate unemployed because T2 schools just don't lead to good jobs, or that you'll be saddled in debt you are not equipped to service. pro-tip: going to law school does not mean bottles or models for you. welcome to your future: http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 7#p4491817
