Question About Grades on Transcript

Post by adda » Tue Jul 12, 2011 9:01 pm

I have the following grades on my transcript: FN, DN, and CN. Will lsac/lsdas include these grades in their gpa conversions, or will they remain as no record?

I'm not sure what those stand for, but were they non-punitive? If so, then it won't have an affect on your LSDAS GPA

The letter N that stands in front of each grade is meant to indicate no record. So, yes, they are considered non-punitive. However, what I have read from other posts, is that certain grades which were previously not factored into school gpa, due to class retake, were later factored into lsdas/lsac gpa coversions. Does anyone know if these grades (FN, DN, CN) are factored in gpa calculation for lsdas/lsac?
