Hi, I just wanted to ask some questions about Cornell Law School. I really like this school and want to get in but I'm not sure if my stats are up to par. I am attending a top 50 city school in NYC (Baruch College) and my gpa is 3.52 (LSAC) and I have a bunch of law internships and finance internships and good letters of recommendations. I am majoring in Finance and minors in double minoring in english/poli sci. I will be taking Lsats in Oct. So far I am getting mid 160's on my lsat score and hope to improve to 170's by this October. I was wondering what my chances are at Cornell and what Lsat score would be a lock for me. Thanks so much.

From LSN, looks like you'll have to beat a 170 at least. Maybe ED, if you're dead set on it.

There is no ED to Cornell, just EA. But yeah, I'd say you at least need a 170.

Oops. Well, OP, guess you'll just have to rock the LSAT. Good luck!

Would 171/172 be good enough? I saw law school predictor and it says 172 gives me an 82% chance of getting in and is labeled admit.

Score a 171/172 and find out.

Also don't forget to write a good "Why Cornell?" and apply EA.

Does Cornell even take a "Why Cornell?" essay?
