Which T14 (or close) schools offer a part-time JD program?

Post by justbubbles » Wed Jul 06, 2011 6:46 pm

I do realize that acceptance in to P/T programs can be brutally competitive, where preference is usually given to applicants with a wealth of work professional experience, a documented history of illness, physical disability requiring special accommodations, etc. but I was just wondering if any reputed top schools offered a P/T JD program?

Right-off my head - elite school wise, I'm thinking GULC and anything close out of the T14 range would probably be Loyola, Fordham, etc. Any others? :?

Anyone care to offer some input?

Thanks! :)

If GW is there, Fordham must be as well.

Fordham isn't close to T14. GW is.

They are peer schools in every sense of the word. Are you living by USNWR gospel? You do know GW was 28 2 years ago.

According to the Gospel of USNWR, Fordham PT program is #2 this year... not that it means much.

Does going to law school part-time hurt big law chances? For example, if two students went to GULC, one part-time and the other full-time, would the part time student have a serious advantage?

The OP was asking for the schools in the T14 or close to T14 with PT programs. GULC and GW are, Fordham is not. I wasn't ascribing any kind of value to the schools, merely responding to the question asked. He asked for rankings, I gave him the appropriate response.
