In all seriousness, I'm familiar with this story (projections of physician oversupply --> looming physician shortage in the next few years).

Isn't it remarkable how the AMA attempted to stem the tide of doctors to prevent medicine from becoming a rancid, festering TTT profession. Wow, and they haven't even been driven out of existence by antitrust suits?!
