Average. Employers may care about the living abroad, schools probably won't.

I'm not sure what the point of this "evaluation" is. Of course you can use this stuff in your PS. What's your LSAT and GPA? that's what matters. If you're asking about reaches, giving us your numbers will be more productive.

I guess what I'm trying to say is

Just wanna see if anything is appealing or not. Guess not lol. Wondering what topics would be different/appealing to adcoms. I thought one of those international internships might be worth talking about...don't have an LSAT yet so my numbers wouldn't give any guidance.

Softs dont mean too much, whats your GPA? If its above a 3.85, they may matter.

it's all good fodder for the PS and will help the adcomms like you. They're just not going to boost you above where your numbers will get you.

Internships:

1) Research at NU Law School. Still doing it...
2) Summer Internship in medico-legal work at a company in England. Sophomore year.
3) Summer Internship in international law at a company in South Asia. Freshman year.

Leadership:

1) Pre-law frat president
2) 2-3 other student organizations - minor offices like business committees.

Misc: International student, UG in USA, lived in Europe for 8 years, and lived in South Asia for 8 years...haha have no idea if this is even pertinent...

Looking forward to hear what you guys think...or perhaps if I should use one of these for my PS?!

Thanks.

Your softs pale in comparison to taxguy's son's.

LOL :-D taxguy is never going to live that down. (Taxguy, if you're reading, your devotion to your son is admirable.)

OP, the best advice I got about my personal statement is that it should 1) reflect something compelling and likeable about me that people can't figure out from the rest of my application (transcript, resume, and letters) and 2) not be boring. You might be able to tease out an interesting story about yourself from any of the above experiences. The fact that you're an international student is promising. Be sure to get a glowing letter of recommendation from that NU Law professor!
