Question concerning degree plans.

Hi, I have a question concerning my degree plan that I need some advice on, any input would be appreciated.
Do law schools care if I take over 4 years to graduate. Right now, I have 2 options: Take 2 18 hr semesters to graduate on time next year or take 2 12 hour semesters and then take my last 2 courses (spanish 2 and 3) over the summer. Will law schools see that negatively or will they not care? I feel like taking the latter option will result in a much better GPA because spanish is has always been the most difficult course for me, and by taking it alone my other classes won't suffer (like they did in the past) and I will be able to focus on them better.
Again, thanks to anyone that takes the time to help shed some light on this issue.
