Top Law Schools

UW vs. Fordham. $$$ same at both schools. Seems easy based on geography? Not so much, because SF is the grail, and I ruled out Hastings.

I have to live/practice in SF. So I think UW is the way to go...but please offer your thoughts.

I love this site and you people, and really need help soon with this.

Please respond ASAP. Anything is appreciated.

if you HAVE to work in SF (which I find incredibly hard to believe), why on earth did you rule out hastings? Neither of those schools is going to get you back to SF

Ummm, why did you rule out Hastings? Also, neither UW nor Fordham will reliably get you SF. If you have significant $$$ then these options aren't that terrible but be prepared to stay in Washington or NY.

Fordham. There's no guarantee you'll get to SF and you'll have more options in NYC to maybe lateral.

Yeah this question makes little to no sense. If SF is the holy grail, why not Hastings? I would imagine it would be easy to get $$$ at Hastings if you have $$$ at UW and Fordham...

I agree with this but I also can't understand why you ruled out Northern California schools if you want to end up in SF?

I guess Seattle is more like SF than New York, so if you have to choose between those two I'd go to UW. But you're not going to live and work in SF anytime soon.

Have you tried negotiating money out of them? They might be interested in knowing that you would most likely attend there if they offered a similar amount of money that is being offered by UW and fordham.

Mpard84 don't want to hijack your thread but do you mind if I ask your stats and what kind of aid UW provided the $$$? Interested in the school since I'm from the PNW, especially if I can go for cheap but their website implied they mostly give out need-based aid and haven't been able to find much on UW's scholarships/financial aid on here.
