Drop in grades?

Hi TLS...

I'm a rising Junior whose just finished my second year of college. I originally attended an unknown state school my freshman year (maintained a 4.0 both semesters), but transferred to a top 20 my second year. My first semester at my new institution was a little rough and I ended up dropping a class and getting a B- in another, although I aced the others (3.567 GPA overall). My second semester, however, went a lot better and I managed to finish with a strong 3.85. My GPA at my new institution is now a 3.71 if calculated by LSAC and my overall GPA between all institutions is most likely between a high 3.8 and low 3.9. I know UG prestige doesn't matter, but I was wondering if my drop in GPA from my old institution (at a 4.0) would raise an eyebrow when compared to the overall GPA at my new one (at a 3.7), considering the increase in difficulty?

Please leave and come back when you have a solid four years of GPA to give us.

All that matters is the number! Don't worry about anything else. Just keep the number high.

Excuse my ignorance, but don't most people take the LSAT and apply their Junior year? If that's the case, I only have a semester or so to go before I apply.

Also come back with an LSAT score. Not a hypothetical one.
