Apply Early or Raise GPA?

I have a dilemma- would it be better for my apps to apply early or wait until december when my 1st semester grades are posted? I currently have a LSAC GPA of about 3.47 through 3 years, with a pretty standard upward trend (2.9 Freshman Year, 3.6-3.7) at a T10 undergrad...i'm nearly positive that after 1st semester it will cross the 3.5 threshold, but I could have all my apps ready to send on day 1 with the 3.47 GPA.

*FYI I'm shooting for MVPDCG+Vandy. I know Practice LSATs are meaningless but I've been PT'in in the low 170s and am sitting in June. Thanks

I would apply early then update with grades as soon as they are available. Of course, a lot depends on your LSAT score.

Try again in June. :-)

Your GPA is kinda low in either case, so you might consider working for a year or so to distance yourself a bit from your GPA.
