gpa question 3.7 or 3.71

Post by Ruxin1 » Thu Apr 28, 2011 1:37 pm

was thinking about picking up an extra class to take my gpa from a 3.7 to a 3.71 before sending in my applications, does anyone think that .01 will make that much of a difference in my cycle or should I just take that extra concentration for my LSAT?

Thanks

Spend the time on the LSAT.

.01 GPA is very very unlikely to make any difference.

I'd say .01 doesn't matter unless it's a substantive jump. I'm taking 17 hour semesters to get my 3.89 to a 3.9 but would so not be doing it to get a 3.88 to a 3.89.

thanks, just with most T-14 medians being around 3.72-3.74 thought I should try to get as close to there as possible. Fuck LSDAS

Probably won't matter unless you raise your GPA to the median or above the median. And even then, I'm not sure that raising it .01 to meet that threshold would make a difference.

Take the class if you want to take the class, though.
