LSAC GPA Calculation Rounding

I searched; couldn't find.
If your undergrad GPA comes out to X.XX67 (standard four point scale, no withdrawals, etc.), does LSAC round up when it gives you your simple, to-the-hundreths-place lsac gpa? (or does it show it to the thousandths place? or round down?)
just wondering if anyone knows from experience!
Thanks in advance!

LSAC rounded mine up. The GPA on my UG transcript is 3.819 and it was rounded to 3.82

I believe this is correct, same thing for my LSAC GPA.

you wouldn't think it'd be.
BUT..
I got thinking about it and:
If one is on the edge of being just above or just below a median, for instance, it could be. Because schools report medians (not
averages, in which case a hundreth wouldn't be significant), being above or below the target for a school could be significant as it would be one more person above, at, or below the target median (or quartile).
For instance, if Duke is shooting for a 3.81 median (arbitrary number and school im throwing out here), and you are going to be a 3.80 or 3.81 depending on rounding, this could make a difference I think.
(I agree this is ludicrous but the whole law school app process is exactly such...)
also, correct if im wrong.
