Length of Review vs. Acceptance Rate

I did some slight browsing and could not find this topic anywhere, so I figured I would start it. Does anybody know from firsthand experience, or is there a general knowledge, as to the length of time one spends under review and correlation towards outcome? For example: if one's application is under review for a very long period of time, is this typically good? Bad? Indifferent? And is it the same of the opposite. If the time of review is pretty quick, what does this usually mean (although it seems to me that this usually means waitlist)?
As a note, in terms of the application, why don't we keep this discussion somewhat general and assume that all applications are within the 25-75 range, and hover close to the middle for both LSAT and GPA.
Thoughts?
